WRAP Board Meeting Set for Dec. 14-15
The next WRAP Board meeting will be held Dec. 14-15 in Palm Springs, Calif. Based on a request by the Tribal Caucus, the board will devote the morning of Dec. 15 to a discussion on mercury emissions. Suggestions for speakers should be forwarded to Bob Gruenig at 505-242-2175 or bgruenig@ntec.org. In addition to individual speakers, a panel discussion is being planned with representatives from tribes, states, environmental organizations and industry. The Tribal Caucus will hold a separate meeting on Dec. 12–13, also in Palm Springs. Agendas for both meetings will be posted to the Web as soon as they are available.
Workshop on Sulfate, Nitrate, and Reasonable Progress
All WRAP members and stakeholders are encouraged to attend a workshop on sulfate, nitrate, and reasonable progress on Jan. 10-11 in Tucson, Ariz. One purpose of the workshop is to integrate the WRAP's technical results — in a clear and concise fashion — around the topics of reasonable progress, sulfates, and nitrates. In addition, workshop attendees will discuss technical summaries and how they relate to policy options and state/tribal implementation plans. The workshop will provide an opportunity to align regional strategies with supporting data and to guide the completion of the technical work. A second workshop will be hosted in the spring of 2006 to cover the topics of dust, carbon, and smoke. Meeting details and logistics are available on the Web at: http://www.wrapair.org/cal/calendar.php?op=view&id=458.

Mobile Source Emissions Inventory Results Show Future Declines
Results of the WRAP mobile source emissions inventory (2002 through 2018 for on-road and off-road vehicles) are being posted to the Emissions Forum Web page as they become available.
