Attached are the notes from today's TOC call discussing the WRAP Integrated Geospatial Information Management Strategy Project, a project designed to incorporate all WRAP Technical Information (ie/ emission inventories, modeling results, monitoring values) into a single venue to allow the common review of all the information together. The TOC felt that this is generally a good concept, but we did not agree that it was a good idea to proceed with a sole source contract based on Pangaea's $168K proposal. Rather we appointed a workgroup to investigate how the WRAP should proceed with data integration, and prepare an RFP for general bid on such a project. The workgroup will be chaired by Jiri Doskocil and John Veranth, with Rich Fisher, Mark Komp, Kevin Briggs and Bob Kotchenruther participating. Tom Moore will coordinate the group and provide contact with the WRAP's main data resource groups (RMC, VIEWS, EDMS, etc). Please feel free to contact Jiri, John or Tom with any comments you may have regarding this project.
