Mobile Sources Forum: Meetings & Calls

Mobile Sources Forum Meeting
April 15,  2002, Denver, CO

At Monday's meeting we will begin with a review of the following:

  • Regional Haze Rule Requirements.

  • Necessary Schedule for "Significance" Analyses.

  • FLAG Criteria.

  • Modifications of FLAG Criteria in order to meet Regional Haze Rule Requirements.

  • Example of applying modified FLAG criteria to mobile sources/road dust and likelihood of a finding of "Significance".

Legislation is proceeding through the Arizona legislature that in essence indicates that if mobile sources are found to be a significant contributor to visibility impairment, Arizona would not submit a section 309 SIP.
