Working Principles:
- Task Force can solicit technical expertise as needed.
- Consider role of Metropolitan Planning Organizations
(MPO) in this process.
- Entire MSF monitors progress through regular distribution
of interim products.
- EPA requests that small refiner definition as well as
diesel fuel timing issue be considered relative to rest
of country.
- Members should be prepared to provide constructive alternatives
and communicate on a regular with their constituency.
Meeting Kick-off Issues
- MSF requests facilitator to assist at initial meetings.
- EPA committed to present non-proprietary data out of
Technical Support Document as needed.
Timing (dates approximate)
- MSF forms Drafting Team June 17, 1999
- MSF issues notice for 8/16/99 Workshop July 16, 1999
- Drafting team provides periodic materials to MSF Through
8/99
- Drafting team mails consensus document to MSF Week of
8/2/99
- Team Finalizes recommendations and gives to MSF for Action
- At meeting(concurrence/with amendments/ etc): Meeting
8/10 SLC
- MSF provides recommendations for Public Advisory Committee
Action
- MSF hosts Public Workshop Week of 8/16/99
- MSF meets (or via conference call) and incorporates public
comment Meeting or C/C 8/25
- And provides recommendations to WRAP
- WRAP meets for action and possible forwarding to EPA
