Presentation by Gail Tonnesen of the RMC as to what we have learned, process and quality-wise, from processing the various 309 EIs with SMOKE, and then modeling visibility with CMAQ. Discussion on approach for the 2002 base year inventories? (Emission Data System Needs Assessment, What are the intended uses of the 2002 inventories' data? (to understand what time, space, chemistry characteristics, et cetera need to be addressed in building the inventories) What will happen to these 2002 emission inventories as the RMC uses these EI data with upgraded SMOKE and CMAQ capabilities? How will QA/QC of inventories be addressed? Should we set standards for acquiring and/or using inventory data? When does the EI work "really" need to be done?)
