The next meeting of the FEJF
will be on May 15 (8:00-5:00), May 16 (8:00-5:00) and May
17 (8:00-1:00) at the Coeur
d'Alene Resort, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The first and
primary emphasis of this meeting will be review of Enhanced
Smoke Management Program Recommendations. Consensus approval
of the over-arching concepts and principles will be sought.
Facilitated discussion of the substantive issues is planned.
Editing for specific words in the document is not envisioned.
These discussions will include time dedicated to RHR Section
309 requirements for Annual Emissions Goal and Emissions
Tracking, which are underlying assumptions of the ESMP
work. Consensus of the Forum will be sought on these Section
309 requirements. After the ESMP discussions, contractor
presentations and FEJF review of reports will be the focus
with: a presentation by ERG on the Agricultural Alternatives
Report followed by final FEJF action, Jones and Stokes
presentation of work on Wildlands Alternatives, Entranco
presentation of the Prescribed Fire Program Assessment
and recommendations of the PFPA TT, and Air Sciences report
on the 2018 Fire Emissions Projections. No breakout sessions
are planned as this is a product review/recommendation
and FEJF consensus session. In addition, there will be
a dedicated session to determining the FEJF Workplan for
the next four years during which WRAP efforts will be focused
on supporting the next round of required RHR SIP/TIP submittals
(Section 308).

Room rate for an "Economy" room
is $56.00 plus tax per night, please refer to "WRAP" in
order to receive this rate. The room block is for May 14-16
(hotel is sold out the 17th and 18th), the hotel will release
any unreserved rooms for general sale on April 29th.
Airport Transportation
The Resort currently provides
7-passenger Van service to and from the Spokane International
Airport. This service is available with tweny-four (24)
hour advanced reservations. The current fee is $45.00 per
person, round trip. Van service can be scheduled at the
same time you make your hotel reservation.
Parking
The Resort provides controlled
covered on-site parking. The current fee is $14.00 per
every twenty-four (24) hour period.
