Committee Conference Call Minutes
July 26, 2000

NEXT MEETING: Conference call on THURSDAY, Aug 3, 2:00 pm MDT.

PRESENT: Al Zemsky, Dan Clark, Cyra Cain, Kathy Van Dame, Carl Bowman, Karen Deike, Dwayne Arino, Ruth McCormick, Jan Miller.

REPORT OF JUNE MEETINGS: Some had reviewed the draft report, but others did not receive it. We will re-send and get comments by email. The report will go into the packet to WRAP members for their meeting on August 11, along with the summary of comments and the flyer for the late August meetings.

AUGUST MEETINGS: All meetings are scheduled except for Colorado and a tribal meeting. Bill Grantham expects to schedule the tribal meeting just before one of the regular meetings. Two drafts of announcement flyers were reviewed and Karen Deike will use parts of both in laying out the final version. It will be done by Friday, and Al will submit it for publication in the Federal Register. States will be urged to get out the flyer next week.

WEB SITE: Cyra will send another notice to the co-chairs reminding them to work directly with Jennifer Lodder (jlodder@uswest.net) to post material on the web site. Jeannine will be notified that the liaison list has not changed and she can post it. We will review operations of the liaisons at our meeting Aug 10.

SUMMARIZING COMMENTS AFTER AUGUST MEETINGS: Jan reported that Greg Schaefer and Bruce Polkowsky of the Market Trading Forum have volunteered to help summarize comments, and Pat Cummins says space is available at the WGA office to do the work on September 11-12. We will ask Dennis Haddow and Kirsten King to help in order to ensure that the summary is sketched out in time to provide information to the Market Trading Forum at their meeting September 13-14, also in Denver.

AUGUST 10 MEETING: Al has posted agenda on the Web site, and will adjust timing to meet needs of participants with other obligations. Committee members should contact Al with suggestions for additions and revisions. Available members will join for dinner after the meeting.
