Webelievetheregionalnatureofthestateandtribalplansasdevelopedthroughthe %p"% WRAPisconducivetoacollaborativeandstreamlinedreviewprocess.Lessonslearnedinthe309processalsoshouldbenefitourapproachtoreviewingtheSection308SIPsinthefuture.  EPAhascorrespondedpreviouslywiththeWesternRegionalAirPartnership(WRAP)andtheWesternStatesAirResourcesCouncil(WESTAR)regardingaprotocolandnumerousregulatoryquestions.CorrespondenceincludesaletterdatedOctober16,2002,onthe309SIPprocessfromMs.BonnieThie,ActingAirDirectorinRegion10,andtoMs.LynnTerry,PresidentofWESTAR.LydiaWegman,Director,AirQualityStrategiesandStandardsDivisionatEPA,hasrespondedtoregulatoryquestionsintwolettersdatedJune7andJuly31,2002,to .*.
