Meeting Announcement
The Western Regional Air Partnership will hold the next meeting of its Board of Directors on Tuesday, July 23 and Wednesday, July 24 in Denver, CO. The meeting will run from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm on 7/23 and from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on 7/24.The meeting will be held at the Adam's Mark Hotel in downtown Denver. Rooms can be reserved until June 28 under the WRAP room block at a rate of $112 per night. The hotel is located at 1550 Court Place and the phone number is 800-444-2326. A meeting of the WRAP Planning Team (Oversight Committee members and Forum co-chairs) will follow the Board meeting from 8 am - 4 pm on Thursday, July 25. This meeting will also be held at the Adams Mark. The primary purpose of this meeting is to discuss the WRAP's 2003-05 Work Plan.The Board meeting will include status reports and recommendations on a number of key WRAP policy initiatives including:
- Renewable energy and energy efficiency strategies
- Fire strategies such as enhanced smoke management and alternatives to burning
- Clean air corridors
- Mobile source and road dust "significance"
- SO2 Annex implementation and analysis of benefits in other Class I areas
- Technical analysis to support Western regional haze planning
- Development of 2003-05 Work Plan

Room rate is $112.00 - reference "WRAP" in order to receive government rate. Rooms will be held until June 28 after which time they will be released for general sale
Transportation
SuperShuttle: Reservations are not required. Upon arrival to the Denver Int'l Airport proceed to Level 5 / Baggage Claim of the the Main Terminal. SuperShuttle has two ticket counters adjacent to the car rental area. Counter service agents will issue tickets and direct you to the proper shuttle loading area on Island 3 of the East or West side of the terminal, depending on your final destination. The rate is $18 one way or $36 round trip. Reservations are not needed but the phone number for SuperShuttle is (303) 370-1300 or (800) 258-3826.
RTD operates a bus, the "Skyride," from the airport to the downtown Market Street Station with three stops along the way. The one-way fare is $6.00. You will then have to take the free 16th Street Shuttle to Court Place. The Adam's Mark will be on your right. The Skyride bus (number AF) leaves DIA once an hour at approximately 50 minutes after the hour. There is an RTD information counter at the DIA terminal near the exit from the underground train system. You must have exact fare when you board the bus.Taxi: A taxi will cost about $50 one way.
